The Blue Planet Run book was a collaboration between Against All Odds Productions (Rick Smolan and Jennifer Erwitt) and the Blue Planet Run Foundation.
Mike Davis and I were hired as Co-Directors of Photography. We worked closely with Rick, Jennifer, Mike Cerre and a team of researchers and writers to amass and create photographic content for this coffee table book on fresh drinking water.
We assigned approximately 40 photographers around the world; researched and gathered tens of thousands of existing picture stories, essays and individual images. We also consulted with the editing, pacing and sequencing of images for the final book.
