The Blue Planet Run: The Race to Provide Safe Drinking Water

This past Spring, Mike and I were hired as Directors of Photography for a book project about the global water crisis.

30,000 images (give or take several thousand - I lost track) later, The Blue Planet Run: The Race to provide Safe Drinking Water is finally available for purchase through Earth Aware Editions. This is exciting!

We want to thank the hundreds of photographers, agencies, photo reps, photo researchers and photo editors who took the time to send in, suggest, and recommend so many wonderful images and bodies of work related to the global water crisis. Seriously, your help was and is a big deal.

And more thanks to the photographers who worked incredibly hard while on assignment for The Blue Planet Run book project. We met some amazing and generous photographers around the world through this project and I hope one day we'll get to meet them and thank them in person.

It remains an honor to have worked with a super-talented group of people and simply amazing to meet so many who have dedicated their lives to providing solutions for those in need of clean water. The experience made me want to be a better global citizen.

All of the royalties from the book goes back to providing clean water for people around the world.

The Blue Planet Run: The Race to Provide Safe Drinking Water should also be available on Amazon in a few more weeks.
